SkyDxddy | “DONT TALK ABOUT IT”
Managed by grammy nominated producer Jeff Blue, SkyDxddy grew up exposed to a variety of musical genres, which would ignite their passion and interest in music. By the age of 10, they had already written their first song and took to the stage performing, competing and raising money for local charities. Their productions knows no boundaries, delivering intense alternative rock to melodic future pop anthems. SkyDxddy is clearly one to watch out for with their unique vocals, powerful lyrics and cult like fanbase. They just released a new track, “DON’T TALK ABOUT IT.” This track is such a vibe. It has a deep and dark sound, which works perfectly for their vocals. Vocally, it is a powerful performance that packs so much emotion. Definitely a strong vocal display. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
The Collection | “Love at the End of the World”
The Collection derives an inimitable musical language from the unbreakable bond between its members. Fronted by David Wimbish, the Saxapahaw, NC-based band places just as much emphasis on interpersonal community and relationships as it does on the music itself. They just released a new track, “Love at the End of the World.” This is definitely one of my favorite tracks that I have heard in a while. The instrumentals are beautiful and pair well with the vocals. Vocally, it is a stunning performance. They do a great job at showcasing their vocal range, all while never losing the essence of the song. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
