Rachel Grae | “Colorblind”
Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved…
Growing up in the outskirts of New York City, Rachel Grae dissected music like an archeologist; turning over melodies to figure out what elevated a catchy song to an unforgettable one, and studying the characteristics of lyrics that unraveled like poetry.
Her first single “Bad Timing” was co-written with Mike Campbell (Say Something – A Great Big World + Christina Aguilera) and Jeremy Silver (Pulse Music Group). It is a clear-headed rumination that corrects the narrative of a past relationship.
She just released a new track, “Colorblind.” Check out the full track and review below!
The new track is really well done. The production is on point. They do a great job at setting up the track to showcase Rachel’s beautiful vocals. She has one of those voices that just cuts through the music and captures the emotion of the lyrics. She is also one of those artists that can sing anything and it sound great. This is a perfect example of a strong performance by an incredible vocalist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
