Dolly Parton | “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus”
Dolly Parton is a household name that really needs no introduction. Not only is she a wonderful Singer/Songwriter, but she is an actress, philanthropist, entrepreneur and just an all around beautiful person. Musically, she is best known for, “Jolene,” “I Will Always Love You,” “Here You Come Again,” “9 to 5” and “Islands in the Stream,” among many others. We recently had the chance to review her new Christmas single, “Mary Did You Know?”
After receiving a Grammy Award earlier in the year for “God Only Knows,” with King and Country, she is back with a fun take on the Christmas classic, “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus.”
Dolly is at it again. Her voice pairs perfectly with this Christmas Classic. She puts her own fun spin on this song. Her dialogue throughout the song really brings it home. It is absolutely refreshing to hear Dolly’s version. To finish it off, she even laughs at the end, which is absolutely adorable.
Dolly has proven time and time again that she isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon. She is a Country Icon and keeps putting out hit after hit.
