After taking the stage at the 2023 VMAs, NSYNC has released their first single, “Better Place,” since Justin Timberlake left the band 19 years ago. Check it out below!
The latest installment follows Kendrick’s Poppy and Timberlake’s Branch, who are now officially a couple. When Poppy finds out about Branch’s secret past as a member of her favorite boy band, BroZone, she helps bring Branch and his four brothers Floyd (Troye Sivan), John Dory (Eric André), Spruce (Daveed Diggs) and Clay (Kid Cudi) back together.
NSYNC, which also consists of Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Lance Bass and Joey Fatone, announced they were reuniting for the song in a video shared on Timberlake’s social media accounts on Sept. 14. The clip sees the band’s former frontman approach the others with a request they work together on a song for the film.
“That’s the first NSYNC song finished in 23 years,” Bass says at the end of the video, to which Timberlake replies, “Listen, man, I love you guys. That shit is … that shit is epic, man.”
