Kelly Clarkson just released the long awaited track, a surprising collaboration from her upcoming album.
The singer previously revealed that her tenth studio album, Chemistry, will feature Only Murders in the Building actor Steve Martin.
While speaking with ET Canada, Clarkson gushed about the 77-year-old Grammy winner—who has included music in his comedy routines since the start of his professional career—adding that he appears on a song called “i hate love.”

“I still can’t believe it happened!” she exclaimed before giving fans a little more insight into the tune and how it came about.
“I reference him in a song and this movie he’s in and he’s such an incredible banjo player and musician,” she elaborated, adding, “I was like ‘I wonder if he would play on it’ because it’s like a pop punk song, ‘I wonder if he’d do it,’ and he said yes!”
She emphasized that she’s “such a fan of his.”
