Nightshift | “Every Night I Dream of You”
Nightshift is a Columbus, OH based indie-pop rock duo. Dan and Steve are two brothers that make up the band, and are out to show the world their unique brand of music. They just released a new track, “Every Night I Dream of You.” This is such a well done song. The 80’s throwback sound is really refreshing. The instrumentals are soothing and pair well with their vocals. A stunning vocal performance. One of my favorite tracks this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
SAM TOMPKINS | “Die For Someone”
We have previously featured Sam Tompkins. Now he is back with a new track, “Die For Someone.” This song is more upbeat than some of his previous tracks. This one is also 80’s influences, in the instrumentals. His vocals are perfect. Seriously, he has one of those voices that you want to hear more of. This is a beautiful performance by an artist that is skyrocketing in the music world. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Sval x Jimi Somewhere | “Angela”
Sval teamed up with Jimi Somewhere for a new track, “ANGELA.” This is more of a slowed down, etherial sounding song. The instrumentals are beautiful and pair well with the vocals. Vocally, it is a stunning performance. They do a great job at showing off their versatility, all while telling the story of the song. Those harmonies are on point as well. Definitely one of my favorite performances this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Jasmine Crowe | “The Shirt Song”
Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, Pop artist, songwriter, and producer Jasmine Crowe speaks to her audience about relatable topics such as mental health and addiction, all set to the tune of upbeat and catchy Pop melodies. She just released a new track, “The Shirt Song.” This is such a feel good song. Energetic and catchy. All the makings of a good Pop song. She has such a good voice that stands out throughout the track. You are going to have this one stuck in your head for a while. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Jordan Jones | “Sabotage”
Jordan Jones just released a new track, “Sabotage.” I love the vibe of this song. It is more of a slow burn, which is perfect for his voice. He has such a rich tone and beautiful delivery that a lot of artists strive for. He has one of my favorite voices that I have heard in a long time. If he keeps on this trajectory, his music will be very successful. A strong end to our New Music Friday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
