Tommy Ashby | “When Love Goes Dark”
Tommy Ashby just released a new track, “When Love Goes Dark.” Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Sam Okell (Celeste, Graham Coxon, The Beatles), this song focuses on being in the present and accepting that some things in life are beyond our control. The vocals are mesmerizing and are pushed to the forefront of the song. An absolutely stunning vocal performance. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Keeper | “Who Cares”
Keeper just recently released a new track, “Who Cares.” This is such an energetic song. Right off the bat, it is full of emotion and angst. This song is definitely a vibe. He does a great job at showing off his vocals, all while never losing the energy of the song. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Simon Opp | “Blue Suede Shoes”
Simon Opp just released his version of the classic, “Blue Suede Shoes.” It is important that when someone does a cover of a well known song, that they make it their own. Simon did just that. He captures the emotion of the song perfectly, all while delivering a strong vocal performance. One of my favorite versions of this hit. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Lorelei Marcell x Hardcastle | “Flashbacks”
Lorelei Marcell teamed up with Hardcastle for a new track, “Flashbacks.” This is by far, one of my favorite tracks this week. I love that they incorporate so many 80’s and 90’s influences in the song. The instrumentals are impressive. The real standout here are the vocals though. Their voices work perfectly together. Such a strong end to our Tune in Thursday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
