Sam Felt x Cate Downey | “Enough to Drink”
Multi platinum award winning DJ, producer, label owner, Sam Felt teamed up with Cate Downey for a new track, “Enough to Drink.” There is so much energy packed into the 2:20 song. The vocals are absolutely stunning. Cate has such a beautiful voice, that is prevalent throughout the song. The production is off the charts. Sam really has a way of capturing the essence of the song, and delivering to his audience. This is a strong start to our New Music Friday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Banners | “In Your Universe”
Having performed in Liverpool Cathedral’s choir from the age of 7, Banners aka Michael Nelson then went on to work as an assistant at Liverpool’s renowned Parr Street Studios with his father, Ken Nelson. Fast Forward to over a billion streams (you might recognize his hit ‘Someone To You‘), major syncs, some epic TikTok moments, a performance on Jimmy Kimmel and recently returning to the UK to launch a new chapter with Nettwerk. He just released a new track, “In Your Universe.” This is such a stunning and vulnerable performance. The instrumentals pair well with his vocals. He has one of my favorite voices that I have heard in a very long time. Absolutely stunning. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
PW Music | “Waste No More Time”
PW Music just released a new track, “Waste No More Time.” This is such an energetic track that has a refreshing throwback sound to it. With this genre, it is really important that the vocals stand out. That is exactly what PW Music has done here. The vocals are absolutely stunning. They do a great job at showcasing their vocals, all while never losing the energy of the song. Such a great ending to our New Music Friday. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
