About Danny Pynes
Danny Pynes is an artist, songwriter, and producer known for his unique indie-pop-meets-alt-country sound. Inspired by a wide range of artists and genres, from Tom Petty to 2Pac, he’s been honing his signature blend of urban grit, country twang, sharp verse, and heartfelt melody since 2015.
Born and raised in Florida, Pynes released ten full-length albums as hip-hop solo act D.P., playing sold-out shows and touring with major acts (Yelawolf, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Goodie Mob) before branching out as Danny Pynes with the release of his debut solo album End of Times in 2015. The alt-country collection incorporated elements of hip-hop, Americana, rock, and piano-pop, featuring sultry guitar lines and vibrant keys in ten compellingly casual, relatable anthems.
Pynes moved to Nashville in 2018 to work with GRAMMY-winning producer Jim Jonsin (Beyonce, Usher, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Nelly, Jamie Foxx) and has since collaborated with artists from Austin Mahone to Jimmie Allen. In 2020, he released five independent singles, establishing himself as an exciting fixture in Nashville’s alt-country, Americana, and indie-pop scenes.

“Born Bad,” is such a well done track. The instrumentals are compelling and go well with his vocals. He has such a strong and unique voice, that it is really refreshing to hear it at the forefront of the song. He does a great job at capturing the emotion of the song, all while never losing the energy. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
