Kelly Clarkson Faces a Setback in Her Ongoing Divorce

Kelly Clarkson’s divorce continues to be pretty messy. Kelly faces another setback in her divorce from Brandon Blackstock, a failed Music Manager, and unemployed rancher. According to Us Weekly, Kelly has been trying to evict Brandon from their Montana ranch due to a judge awarding the property to her. But apparently, Brandon hasn’t vacated, and it doesn’t look like he’s leaving anytime soon.
“Kelly recently had a major legal setback in a bid to get Brandon evicted from the Montana property that the judge awarded solely to her,” a source tells the outlet. “He has been living in it and said he doesn’t have the financial means to afford to purchase a residence of his own at this time, citing the unresolved financial aspect of their divorce.”
The source added, “The judge sided with Brandon and ruled in his favor, the order just hasn’t been formally signed off on.”
Kelly was declared “legally single” back in August but filed for divorce in June 2020 after seven years of marriage. She opened up about the split during an interview with Entertainment Tonight in October 2020:
“There’s a lot of hearts involved here, and you know, that’s the thing that’s been kind of hard to navigate is I am an open book, but at some point, I’m a mama bear more than I am a person in the public eye,” Kelly said. “So I care 100 percent more about my children than I do anything else on this planet. So that’s been the hard thing of, like, yes, I’m willing to share my experience, and yes, it is the worst. I mean, the past few months have been horribly sad. But at the same time, I have to think, Hmm, like, what I say has a domino effect in other people’s lives.”
