Mitch Rossell | “Seemed Like a Good Idea” – Music Video Premiere

Mitch Rossell

Mitch Rossell, originally from the hills of East Tennessee, is blazing a trail through the world of Country Music. During his freshman year at Virginia Tech, Rossell discovered his passion for guitar, an instrument he picked up to honor his late father. He quickly found himself locked in his dorm room skipping classes to indulge in his newfound musical obsession. Upon graduating with a degree in Business Management from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Rossell made the move to Nashville in 2010.

In mid 2014, Mitch’s work caught the attention of his all time favorite artist and Country Music legend, Garth Brooks. Brooks is quoted saying, ”Mitch Rossell has one of those voices that spins your head around the second you hear it, but that is only the beginning. Once he has your attention, get ready for some of the best lyrics and melodies you have ever heard.” In the summer of 2016, Brooks invited Rossell to open shows on his record setting World Tour. Rossell recently signed with Wrensong Publishing. We have previously featured his single, “Then Again.”

Mitch Rossell is back with his Music Video for “Seemed Like a Good Idea.” Check out this hilarious and inventive video below.

This is fun song about doing things in the moment and it seeming like a good idea at the time. The music video has some pretty hilarious animation, which reminds me of a South Park episode. This type of animation goes really well with the story of the song as well. If you want a fun song about things you have done in the past, check out “Seemed Like a Good Idea,” below!
