Joey Green, originally hailing from Texas and later making a home in Nashville, has garnered fame in his native state due to his electrifying live performances that seamlessly fuse rock, soul, and country influences. His rise to prominence was fueled by a notable stint on NBC’s The Voice. Green characterizes his musical style as “post-Americana,” which can be best described as a fusion of Americana, rock, and country.
Joey Green boasts an impressive discography with eight albums under his belt. His most recent offering, “Puttin’ It Out There,” is a 6-song EP that saw the light of day in May 2022. Back in 2015, he treated his fans to “The War,” an 11-song project. Green embarked on his musical journey with the debut album, “Outside the Circle,” and at one point, he was part of a band named Defining Briscoe. His earlier releases include “Vinyl Destination” (2008), “Whatever Lady” (2009), “EP Tone Home” (2011), “Lo 5” (2013), and “Live at the Whiskey Girl Saloon” (2013).
