After a successful sold-out headline performance in London, emerging pop sensation Alexander Stewart has unveiled his latest EP, “if you only knew.” This release follows Stewart’s notable achievement of securing the #2 position on TikTok’s 2023 The Hitmakers list, ranking as the second most viewed artist on the platform in Canada. In “if you only knew,” the Toronto-born singer-songwriter lays bare his soul, delving into the intricacies of love, friendship, and the hurdles of mental health. Consisting of six tracks, all co-written by Alexander, the EP includes standout hits like the viral pop sensation ‘i wish you cheated’ and the poignant ‘he never will.’
After his intimate performance for NYC fans, the Canadian singer will showcase a live rendition of “if you only knew” on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday, December 13th. Notably, Stewart had previously made his late-night TV debut with a performance of “I wish you cheated” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which you can view here. The track gained significant traction through a viral TikTok campaign, accumulating over 45 million views and garnering over 37 million global streams to date.
