Magnus Ferrell | “Back In Place”
Magnus Ferrell just released a new track, “Back In Place.” First off, I love the vibe of this song. It has a throwback 80’s vibe to it, which is super refreshing. He has a great voice that goes well in this genre. Production is also on point. Such a cool track that is going to be on repeat for a while. A strong start to our Wild Wednesday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Amongst Wolves | “Not Dead”
Amongst Wolves are a 4-piece pop-rock band formed in Manchester, UK in 2016. They just released a new track, “Not Dead.” This is by far, one of my favorite tracks to be released in recent memory. The build on this song is incredibly impressive. The vocals are absolutely insane, in the best way possible. This is one of those songs that you don’t want to end. Make sure to add this one to your playlists so you can have it on repeat.
Heavy Head | “Under the Bed”
Heavy Head is a Toronto based alt rock band comprised of Jamie O’Halloran, Callen Hageman, and Doug Harris-Lowe. They just released a new track, “Under the Bed.” This is such a well done song. The instrumentals are compelling and pair well with the vocals. It is really cool how they set the vocals up in the song, and let them soar. They have the rare storytelling ability that a lot of artists strive for. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Kris James | “Home”
Kris James just released a new track, “Home.” This is a catchy track. It has such a big sound. Kris does a great job at keeping up the energy, all while delivering on the huge payoff towards the ending portion of the song. He has such a great voice, and it is really refreshing to hear it at the forefront of this song. Seriously, he has one of my favorite voices that I have heard in a while. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
