Music icon and Emmy award winner, Kelly Clarkson sat down with newly elected First Lady, Jill Biden on Thursday for their highly anticipated interview at The White House. This was Dr Biden’s first solo interview as FLOTUS. Kelly Clarkson opened the show with Dr Biden’s favorite song, “Get Together, which Kelly revealed that she didn’t know, before then. “I actually did not know this song,” Clarkson, 38, told Biden, 69, afterwards. “I always get excited when people pick songs I didn’t know before and I get to learn them.”
The two had plenty to chat about. Dr Biden and Kelly even had a in depth discussion about dealing with loss and divorce.
The pair talked about the issues she and other educators are experiencing while teaching virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kelly Clarkson’s FLOTUS interview was one of the most memorable interviews in recent history. This should help in the ratings, since The Kelly Clarkson Show was renewed until 2023. The show won three Daytime Emmys in 2020, including one for Clarkson as best entertainment talk show host.
