The Bad Hats | “Jolene”
The Bad Hats are back with a cover of the Dolly Parton classic, “Jolene.” Their version definitely gives this song a different, darker feel to it. It is always a good thing when an artist takes a popular song and makes it their own. That is exactly what The Bad Hats did in this live version of “Jolene.”
Instrumentals are, once again, on point. Vocals are showcased heavily in this song. The lead vocalist shows a different side of himself in this song. His voice has a bit of grit and rasp to it, which really gives the song a different feel. All in all, this is a great cover of a timeless classic. The Bad Hats have proven that they are here to stay.
