Kelly Clarkson | “All I Want For Christmas Is You”

Kelly Clarkson really needs no introduction. She got her start from winning the first season of American Idol. Since winning Idol in 2002, she has sold over 25 million albums and 36 million singles worldwide, and counting. She has won over 70 different awards, just for her music alone. She also just won an Emmy (Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host) for her new daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, which she opens with a different cover/song at the beginning of every show.
Kelly Clarkson, Queen of Christmas, is back with her new Christmas single, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” Not to be confused with Mariah Carey’s version, this one is originally by Vince Vance & the Valiants. Of course, Kelly sounds absolutely stunning in her take. Vocally, she never disappoints. She could sing the phone book and it would be a hit the next day. This one has more of an old time sound to it, which is refreshing. Pair that with the background vocals, and you have an instant Christmas Classic.
Kelly Clarkson is here to save 2020 with her wonderful rendition of “All I Want For Christmas Is You.” If you want to be in the Christmas Spirit, check it out. It is available on all major streaming platforms!

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
