Amy Jack | “Got Lonely Too Early”
Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved…
Originally from Oklahoma, Amy Jack is a singer, songwriter, and producer. She has previously worked for iHeartRadio and Cumulus, so she is very familiar with radio. Her song “For the Love of the Game” was featured on the U. S. Olympic Committee’s ‘Road to Rio’ Tour, March Madness on ESPN and on a featurette for Kobe Bryant on FOX Sports.
“Got Lonely Too Early,” is Amy’s take on a Merle Haggard classic. Her voice really shines in this song. Her voice has a Bonnie Raitt feel to it, which is impressive. She really captures the emotion of the song and shines a light on an already great classic. You can tell that she is having a great time with this release. Merle Haggard actually helped produce this song before his passing. This was one of the last projects that he worked on.
She did a great job at paying homage to a country icon. If you are a fan of a classic country voice and beautiful vocals, check out Amy Jack and her new album, Introducing Amy Jack.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
