Kelly Clarkson has taken to social media to announce a new track, “i hate love,” featuring the one and only Steve Martin. Check out the announcement below!
“I still can’t believe it happened!” Clarkson told ET Canada in excitement. “I reference him in a song, and this movie he’s in and he’s such an incredible banjo player and musician,” she added before giving fans a detail about the song’s sound. “I was like ‘I wonder if he would play on it’ because it’s like a pop punk song, ‘I wonder if he’d do it,’ and he said yes!”
The new track, “i hate love,” will be the fourth single released from her upcoming album chemistry, behind “mine,” “me,” and “favorite kind of high.” Check out the live version of “favorite kind of high” below.
