Dave Thomas Junior | “Nobody Else”
Dave Thomas Junior just released a new track, “Nobody Else.” This is more of an acoustic driven track, which is perfect, considering how powerful his vocals are. He has such a unique voice, that you just want to listen to him sing everything. This is catchy track that you will catch yourself singing throughout the day. Absolutely stunning vocal performance, just in time for Valentine’s Day. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
EIGHTY NINETY | “2 Carat”
EIGHTY NINETY, NYC-based brothers Abner and Harper James fuse intimate storytelling, sticky melodies, and minimalist pop productions built on acoustic instruments and electronic sounds in a style they call “808s and telecasters”. They just released a new track, “2 Carat.” This track is extremely well done. The build in this song is impressive. They do a great job at capturing that artistic tension, and delivering something energetic and upbeat. The vocals are stunning. This is a beautiful performance that you will have on repeat. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Julian Rose x Caroline Romano | “Fighting A War”
We have featured Caroline Romano quite a few times. She teamed up with Julian Rose for a new track, “Fighting A War.” This track is definitely a vibe. The instrumentals have a retro feel to them, which works perfectly with both of their voices. Seriously, their voices blend beautifully together. It seems like they feed off of each other’s energy and delivers a powerful performance. The production is also top notch. All in all, it is a performance that you need to give a listen. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
LaLion | “A Lie”
The stylistically unpredictable LaLion is a singer, songwriter, rapper, producer, and engineer. He flawlessly bends genres such as rock, rap, indie, pop, and grunge carefully assembling compelling inspirations hat speak to fans across the globe. He just released a new track, “A Lie.” This week has been full of powerful vocals. Seriously some of my favorite voices that I have heard since I started MOTR. LaLion is another example of a powerful vocalist and artist that demands your attention. The way he blends his vocals and intertwines it within different genres, is impressive.
