Sunday

Sunday Funday Roundup is back with some new tracks and reviews. Check them out below!

Julia Ross x BSMNTPRTY | “Physical”

BSMNTPRTY teamed up with Julia Ross for an energetic new single, “Physical.” First off, I absolutely love the 80’s influence in this track. It seems like this sound is making a comeback, which is super refreshing. The instrumentals are energetic and pair well with Julia’s vocals. She has one of those voices that cuts through the music and demands attention. An impressive start to our Sunday Funday Roundup. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Mau P | “Gimme That Bounce”

Mau P is set to make a major impact on the house music scene. The Amsterdam native eats, breathes and sleeps music. He was raised in a household full of talented musicians, taking on multiple instruments from a very young age. At 14 years old, Mau P (born Maurits Westveen) found an unconditional love for dance music. He now effortlessly channels his musical skillset, raw talent and boundless creativity into both his productions and DJ sets. He just released a new track, “Gimme That Bounce.” There is so much energy packed into this 3:37 song. It never lets up, which is perfect for EDM. The production is also on point. If you need a track for your dance/workout playlist, check this one out.

Love Harder | “Double Take”

Love Harder, the dance music alter-ego of award-winning producer Will Simms, has just shared his brand new single “Double Take,” an infectious, feel-good piece of electronic music. I love how upbeat this track is. The vocals are featured perfectly throughout the song. There is a perfect balance that is needing in a good EDM song. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

The Tyne x NOAHFINNCE | “(NOT A) LOVE SONG”

Rounding out our Sunday Funday Roundup, is a new track by The Tyne and NOAHFINNCE, “(NOT A) LOVE SONG.” This is really cool track. They seem to draw influences from indie punk/pop hits from the past and make it feel fresh again. Even their music video has a retro feel to it, which is pretty cool. The instrumentals are really well done and pair well with the vocals. Those harmonies are on point as well. All in all, it is a strong performance that deserves to be added to your playlists.
