We are back with our Top Notch Tuesday playlist. Check out the new tracks and reviews below!
Cash Cash x RuthAnne | “Anyway”
EDM music trio, Cash Cash teamed up with RuthAnne for a new track, “Anyway.” Right off the bat, my favorite thing is that even though it is an electronic track, it focuses heavily on the vocals. The energy of this one is absolutely insane, in the best way possible. RuthAnne has such a beautiful voice that is complimented by the production quality that Cash Cash brings to the table. A perfect start to our Top Notch Tuesday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Ilan Rubin | “Don’t Panic!”
While Ilan Rubin is widely known as the drummer for Nine Inch Nails, and youngest ever inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he’s also a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer, who writes and plays every instrument on his records. He just released a new track, “Don’t Panic!”. This is such a heavy song, which makes sense considering his background in the industry. It is a perfect fit for his vocals. He has one of those voices that just keeps you enthralled throughout the track. This is a stunning performance that you will have on repeat for a while. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Joybomb | “Running Blind”
With its unique blend of power pop, alt rock, and post-hardcore, Joybomb reels out a steady stream of sonic hooks designed to galvanize audiences and hit them with something new. They just released a new track, “Running Blind.” What an energetic performance. The instrumentals are on point and do a great job at keeping up with the vocals of the track. Vocally, it is a strong performance. With the way the different dynamics worked together in the song, it is a perfect end to our Top Notch Tuesday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlist.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
