We are back with our Tune in Thursday playlist. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!
Elle Baez x Ely Oaks | “Stereotype” (Ely Oaks Remix)
We have featured Elle Baez quite a few times. Now she is kicking off 2023 with a remix to her track, “Stereotype.” This remix is absolutely intense. The energy and melody is infectious. Her vocals are pushed to the forefront of the track, which is perfect, considering how strong her voice is. Seriously impressive start to our Tune in Thursday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Kayden McCarthy | “Cloud 9”
Kayden McCarthy is no stranger to Music On The Rox. We have previously reviewed his last few singles. Now he just released another impressive new single, “Cloud 9.” This track has more of an acoustic vibe feel to it, which sets his vocals up in the song. He has one of my favorite voices that I have covered in a long time. His tone and his delivery is impressive and is something that a lot of artists strive for. Definitely a standout performance this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
vara | “paranoia”
You have probably heard the new vara song, “paranoia,” if you frequent any social media channels. The new track introduces a vulnerability as they introduce themes like depression and a relatable wrestling with one’s mental health. It has such a deep and dark tone, which works with the story of the song, and the vocals as well. Definitely a strong end to our Tune in Thursday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
