Alex Marzejon | “More Than That” and “Songs About Girls”
We have decided to take a look at 2 of Alex Marzejon‘s tracks. First one up is, “More Than That.” Check it out below.
The song is really well done. What a catchy melody. The instrumentals are strong and pair well with his vocals. His vocals in this song remind me of Charlie Puth, which is a huge compliment. One of my favorites this week. Next up is “Songs About Girls.” Check it out below!
This track is super catchy as well. It is more vocal forward than the last track and does a great job at showing off his versatility throughout. The way he goes from his chest voice to his head voice is impressive. He really reaches into his rasp in this one, which is very refreshing. Both songs are strong and stand on their own as 2 of my favorite songs this month. Make sure to add both tracks to your playlists.
dreaming of cali | “last christmas”
Christmas is right around the corner. That means that Christmas music is in full force. The group, dreaming of cali, just released their take on the Wham! classic, “Last Christmas. This is such a fresh take on a really well known song. They give it a new spin and somehow make me want to keep it on repeat, which is rare for Christmas music. They are super talented, which shows throughout the song. The melody is catchy, and the vocals are outstanding. The production is also on point. This is possibly my favorite version of this song. Make sure to give this one an add to your Holiday Playlists.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
