Lumichevi | “BADBOY”
Lumichevi just released a new track, “BAD BOY.” This is such a cool track. It has so many throwback elements in the instrumentals, which is refreshing. The vocals are well done. They do a great job at showing off his vocals, all while never losing the energy of the song. Definitely a strong way to start off Tune in Thursday. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Jonah Michael | “TALKING TO MYSELF.”
Jonah Michael just released a new track, “TALKING TO MYSELF.” We just keep the energy going this week, with Jonah Michael’s new track. It has a pop/punk vibe which I fell in love with years ago. This track does a great job at showing off his vocals. He has one of those voices that just cut through the music and demands attention. Definitely one of my favorites this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
GAYLE | “ALEX”
After bursting on the scene with “abcdefu,” GAYLE has all the momentum in music. In Nashville, GAYLE found a support group of like-minded songwriters in the pop genre. She would perform and write in any and all free moments, averaging performances and sessions 3-5 times/week while managing high school. She just released a new track, “ALEX.” Poor ALEX, apparently she has to break up with him, and this song is dedication to doing just that. It is really well done. Such a catchy song that has GAYLE’s iconic vocals. By the end of the song, we are all trying to break up with ALEX, in the best way possible. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Dalton Cyr | “Happy”
Dalton Cyr’s music is full of the raw emotions of a person twice his age. At 21, he pours so much of himself into his music, you cannot ignore the fact that you are in the presence of an artist at the top of his game. He just released a new music video for his track, “Happy.” This is a really cool song. The melody and instrumentals are absolutely beautiful. He does a great job at capturing the emotion of the track, and delivering it in such a compelling way. One of my favorites this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Joel Corry feat Tom Grennan | “Lionheart (Fearless)”
Joel Correy and Tom Grennan just released a new track, “Lionheart (Fearless).” This song just starts out with a bang with the vocals. Absolutely impressive how they can get your attention, right off the bat. The vocals soar through the whole song, and is accompanied by some really well done instrumentals. The production is also on point, which is important for this genre. Definitely a standout that will have you on your feet in no time. Make sure you add this one to your playlists.
The Satellite Station | “Ohio”
The Satellite Station is the moniker of singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Travis Rue. Known for his haunting folk-inspired melodies and emotionally deep lyrics, Rue’s storytelling shares his perspective on life and the challenges and joys of being human. The new single, “Ohio,” is really well done. The instrumentals are outstanding and have a calming effect as well. His voice just transcends throughout the track and never lets up. Such a great vocal performance that deserves to be added to your playlists.
Dan Croll | “How Close We Came”
Dan Kroll just released a new song, “How Close We Came.” I like the minimization of the instrumentals and backing track. This pretty much forces his voice into the foreground of the song, which is important, considering how strong his voice is. Such a cool track that has intriguing instrumentals, and contagious melodies/harmonies. Definitely a great song to end our Tune in Thursday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
