We are back with our Wild Wednesday playlist. Check out our new releases and reviews below!
Jodré | “conversations”
Jodré is a singer-Songwriter born in Portugal with roots in Angola based in the United Kingdom. His music is strongly influenced by top R&B/Soul artists like Daniel Caesar and Frank Ocean, but also by Alternative R&B with the likes of Brent Faiyaz and Steve Lacy. He just released, “conversations.” The new track is really well done. It is very soulful and bluesy and does a great job at showing off his vocals. He has such a good voice, it is refreshing to hear it at the forefront of the song. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Lyrah | “In the Leaves”
Lyrah got her start writing toplines for Axtone Records (the label of Swedish DJ/Producer Axwell.) Since pursuing a solo path, her songs have been listed on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds”, Tidal’s “Pop Somber”, and Apple Music’s playlists “Vibes” and “Nightcap”. Most recently she’s had songs featured in HBO’s show “The Sex Lives of College Girls” and “Charmed”. Lyrah just released a new track, “In The Leaves.” First off, she has such a good voice. The instrumentals are great and pair well with her vocals. This song is energetic and puts her voice at the forefront. Definitely a favorite this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
