Since commencing his musical journey in 2014, Nick de la Hoyde has crafted a sound that is simultaneously intimate, expansive and engaging, a sound that continues to evolve and a sound that is steadily growing an audience all across the globe. 

From Syncs, to international TV shows and radio adds, to the likes of BBC Radio1 (UK), Sirius XM (US), Pop 40 Asia, KIIS FM, Nova and the Hit Network (AU) these are all a testament to his growth as an international artist. 

A multi finalist at the International Songwriting Competition, Nick has received previous Honorary Mentions for his songs Mirror Mirror (2018), Love Takes Time (2017) and Thinking Bout You (2016). Nick’s debut album ‘A Beautiful Mess’ won first prize in the ‘pop album category’ at the 18th Independent Music Award’s (IMA) 2020. 

Nick has performed at Rolling Loud in Miami and has supported the likes of Max on his Down Under tour and has written for and collaborated with artists across the world including Australia, USA, Canada, UK, Norway, France, Sweden & Italy. 

Nick has partnered with brands such as Seiko Watches, Hard Rock Café, Puma, Beats by Dre, Red Bull and ASOS and had write received press including Perez Hilton, MTV, Billboard, The Source, The Huffington Post and more.

The new track, “Close to You,” is such a strong piece of work. The way the song starts off very minimalistic, and then draws you in with the instrumentals is really captivating. His voice is so smooth. He has a tone that just can’t be taught and obviously comes naturally. This is one of those songs that you will have on repeat, just to hear him hit those high notes.
