Two Year Vacation is back with a new track, “Lemons.” Check out the full track and review below!
Two Year Vacation is the band that originates from its own contrast and is all about driving out all stale senses of the mundane. With inspiration from trivial daily routines and dreams they make music that travels in a fascinating blend of Italo disco, rock and Caribbean kraut through easygoing joyful rhythms wrapped in tropical vibes. Influences ranging from ABBA to Fatboy Slim through early Daft Punk, MGMT, Arcade Fire, Vampire Weekend and Peter Björn & John.
“Lemons,” is such a cool track. This upbeat single is definitely a standout this week. The instrumentals are really well done and compliment his vocals really well. The vocals are super strong too. He does a great job at keeping up the energy throughout the entire song. Such a great performance. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
