Aspen Jacobson is back with a new track, “Shouldn’t Give a Damn.” Check out the single and full review below.
Award-winning, teen singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Aspen Jacobsen has a natural gift for connecting with her audience through her introspective lyrics and emotive voice. Aspen’s original work is a modern twist on Americana and Folk music.
In addition to performing as a solo singer-songwriter, Aspen’s musical versatility has been showcased as a member of old-time string and rock bands. Aspen is currently a high school senior at Interlochen Arts Academy in their singer-songwriter program where she also explores jazz improvisation, learns about the music industry, and enjoys backing up other musicians of multiple genres as a member of the house band.
The new track is really well done. The instrumentals are on point. Her vocals are perfectly complimented by the track in the background. Also, the production is really great too. All in all, a great song by a very talented artist.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
