Jake Hoot is back with his debut single, “I Would’ve Loved You.” This new single features Kelly Clarkson, his winning coach from Season 17 of the hit show, The Voice.
Kelly Clarkson really needs no introduction. She got her start from winning the first season of American Idol. Since winning Idol in 2002, she has sold over 25 million albums and 36 million singles worldwide, and counting. She has won over 70 different awards, just for her music alone. She also just won an Emmy (Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host) for her new daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, which she opens with a different cover/song at the beginning of every show.
“I Would’ve Loved You,” is a beautiful song that really showcases two outstanding voices. Both of their voices blend very well together. Kelly shows off her range, yet again, in this new single. At this point in her career, I don’t believe there is a song that she can’t sing. It is really cool that she is still helping out artists that she has worked with on The Voice.
