Bailey Hefley | “Forever 20 Something”

Bailey Hefley is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas but moved to Nashville in 2012. She attended Belmont University from 2009-2010 and finished up her degree at the University of Arkansas from 2010-2012. After moving to Nashville, she has shared her songs at writers’ rounds and opened for artists including Old Dominion, Ashley McBryde, Deana Carter, and Justin Moore.
She is back with her new single, “Forever 20 Something.” To start off, this is such a fun song. It is really evident that she is having a blast with this one. Her voice is perfectly complimented by the instrumentals. There are even portions of the songs where her voice is just soaring. The versatility of it is just amazing. This song reminds me of a Taylor Swift hit, which is definitely a compliment. Lyrically, it is cleverly written. It still tells a story and doesn’t lose an ounce of “fun” to the song. “Forever 20 Something,” is going to be a fun one to see live at one of her shows. Bailey already has over 90,000 monthly listeners on Spotify alone. With this release, she can expect those numbers to skyrocket. All in all, Bailey Hefley is a super fun artist and it will be interesting to see what she will do next. Take a listen to “Forever 20 Something,” below and follow her as well!
