Wild Wednesday

We are back with our Wild Wednesday playlist. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!

CerVon Campell | “confused”

From South Carolina, CerVon Campell is an artist known for his soulful sound and venting lyrics. Campbell, who started as a standup comic, has transitioned into not only a singer and rapper but also credited as a screenwriter, songwriter, and actor. He just released a new track, “confused.” This is such a good track. The instrumentals are compelling and pair well with his vocals. He has such a strong and unique voice, which is very impressive. His voice is made for this genre. Definitely a strong start to our Wild Wednesday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Chris Bloom | “Peace Of Mind”

Born and raised in Chattanooga TN, Chris Bloom grew up in a household where all types of music were celebrated. Exposed to a wide variety of styles, Bloom became a self taught producer, writer, and singer with a distinct voice. Influenced by hip hop, soul, and pop, Bloom has carved out a unique sonic niche of soulful bedroom pop that is both vulnerable memorable. He just released a new track, “Peace Of Mind.” Another strong song for this weeks playlist. He has such a strong voice. His tone and his delivery is absolutely stunning. He does a great job at telling the story of the song, all while keeping the vibe going. A strong vocal performance. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Ben Ellis | “Ed’s House”

Ben Ellis is a singer-songwriter from Cardiff, Wales. He’s been singing as long as he can remember. Over the course of the pandemic, he’s written many songs by himself and collaborated with fellow singer-songwriters all over the world on Zoom. He busks in London and Cardiff, performing both original songs and covers. He just released a brand new song, “Ed’s House.” Ben has one of my favorite voices I have heard in a while. We featured him before and this is just another solid release. This one has more of a throwback feel, which works perfectly with his voice. One of my favorite releases this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
