We are back with our Tune in Thursday playlist. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!
Matt Holubowski | “My Burrow”
Matt Holubowski just released a new track, “My Burrow.” The new track is a beautiful and intriguing glimpse into his upcoming LP, Like Flowers on a Molten Lawn, which is scheduled to be released on March 24th. The melody is a catchy and upbeat piece of art. The vocals are stunning and go perfectly in this genre. All in all, it is a strong performance that deserves a place on your playlists. Make sure to add this one to your playlists, and stream his upcoming LP, Like Flowers on a Molten Lawn when it releases on March 24th.
Kayden McCarthy | “Rebounds”
Born alongside the coast New Jersey, Kayden McCarthy began his musical journey in the city of Amsterdam, NL where he spent the better part of his childhood. Later moving to central Illinois and eventually settling in the city of Chicago, it became clear to Kayden that music was evidently going to play a large role in life. We have featured Kayden McCarthy quite a few times, and now he is back with a new track, “Rebounds.” This is such a well done track. The instrumentals/backing track are both great. He has one of my favorite voices that I have heard in a while. His tone and delivery are super impressive. Another powerful performance. You will have this one on repeat for a while. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Martin Luke Brown | “elsie”
A self taught multi instrumentalist since the age of 12, Martin Luke Brown grew up in Leicester, a cultural melting pot, which defined his formative years, before moving to London for University at age 19. Once relocated in the capital, two years of gigging and writing, alongside his studies, lead to him leaving University after his debut single ‘Nostalgia’ landed him a major label record deal. Now, he just released a new track, “elsie.” What a beautiful song. The instrumentals are more acoustic driven, which is perfect, considering how strong his vocals are. His tone and his delivery is something special. He has the rare storytelling ability that artists strive for. A stunning vocal performance. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
