Gun Boi Kaz | “21”
Gun Boi Kaz was originally born in Korea but grew up in the small town of New Haven Connecticut. He first started recording music when he was 16 as a way to help deal with his emotions. Since then he has grown a loyal & supportive fanbase through his music and social media apps such as TikTok (which he currently sits at almost 600k followers). He just released a new track, “21.” This is such a cool track. The instrumentals pair well with the vocals and really showcase his vocal range. He has such a smooth tone, which is perfect for this genre. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
twentylove | “getting used to this”
San Fernando valley group, twentylove, just released a new track, “getting used to this.” This is a really well done track. It has more of an acoustic sound, which is perfect, considering how strong his vocals are. He has one of those voices that just cuts through the music and demands your attention. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Joe P feat K.Flay | “Off My Mind”
Joe P is a songwriter from Asbury Park, New Jersey. He teamed up with K.Flay for a new track, “Off My Mind.” Another impressive track to add to our Tune in Thursday playlist. The instrumentals have a retro feel to them, which is super refreshing. The vocals are impressive as well. They do a great job at showing off their vocals, all while never losing the energy of the song. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Svidden | “Blurry Eyes”
Svidden, or Jimmy Koitzsch which is his actual name, is one of Sweden’s most successful producers. With over 2 billion streams, one Grammy nomination, collaborations with acts such as Becky Hill, Alan Walker and Galantis, for which he co-produced hits like “No Money”, “Runaway (U&I) and “Peanut Butter Jelly”, Svidden has a solid resume. He just released a new track, “Blurry Eyes.” The backing track/instrumentals are both impressive. They do a great job at setting up the vocals of the track, and delivering some insane energy. Definitely a strong track to end our Tune in Thursday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
