It is officially the first day of 2023! That means a ton of new music. Check out some of the best new releases and reviews for our Sunday Funday Roundup below!
Sean Dawson | “HATE BEING HATED”
Miami native singer/songwriter, Sean Dawson just released a new track, “HATE BEING HATED.” What a strong start to our Sunday Funday Roundup. This is more of an acoustic track that puts Sean’s vocals at the forefront of the song. Such a cool vibe. He has a super compelling voice that grabs your attention and doesn’t let go. A strong vocal performance to bring in the new year. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Ryan Morrissette x Golden BSP | “Honestly”
Ryan Morrissette teamed up with Golden BSP for a new track, “Honestly.” This track has so much energy behind it. The instrumentals are intense and compliment the vocals completely. The vocals are powerful and shows off his range brilliantly. This is definitely one of my favorites this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Sawyer Fredericks | “The Golden Tree”
We have previously featured The Voice Season 8 Winner, Sawyer Fredericks with his singles, “Days Go By,” and “Born.” Now, he is back with a new track, “The Golden Tree.” The instrumentals are contagious and pairs well with his vocals. He has a way of capturing the emotion of the song, all while showing off his voice. He has one of my favorite voices that I have heard since I started MOTR. Sawyer has the rare storytelling ability that a lot of artists strive for. A strong end to our Sunday Funday Roundup – New Year’s Edition. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
