About Sawyer Fredericks
The Voice Season 8 Winner, Sawyer Fredericks has had a whirlwind career after appearing on the show. Fresh from that whirlwind, Sawyer went forward with the release of his major label debut, A Good Storm, with Republic Records, an impressive blend of soulful Folk, blues, and rock, entirely written or co-written by Sawyer. His 2016 A Good Storm Tour included 62 shows across the US.
In 2018, He once again went independent, reclaiming full artistic control, creating an album entirely written by Sawyer Fredericks, self-produced and self-released. The highly-anticipated Hide Your Ghost sheds the high gloss major label treatment, and stays true to Fredrick’s honest and elegantly stripped down style, a self-described “free range folk”, incorporating elements of blues, roots rock, and jazz with live instrumental arrangements throughout. We have previously featured his album, “Flowers For You.” Now he released a new single, “Lonely Bear.”
Review
This is such a well done song. The instrumentals are absolutely beautiful and do a great job at setting up his voice. His vocals are always on point. The cool thing with Sawyer’s vocals is that they always tell a story, all while capturing the emotion of the song. Absolutely stunning. Make sure to add this one to your playlists

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from.
