New Release Friday is back with some new tracks and reviews. Check out the full playlist and reviews below!
BOBI ANDONOV | “Bad Decisions”
Bobi Andonov fell in love with music at 13, when he was selected to play Young Simba in the Broadway production of “The Lion King” in Melbourne, Australia and Shanghai, China, and at 15, when he was a grand finalist on Australia’s Got Talent with an audition that reached over 15 million views. He just released a new track, “Bad Decisions.” I absolutely love this track. The instrumentals are strong and pair perfectly with his vocals. He has one of those voices that cuts through the music and demands your attention. Such a beautiful performance. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
ETHOS XCIX x Drawn To The Sky | “battling a war inside my head”
Eric Thompson, professionally known as ETHOS XCIX, is an Electronic artist, producer, and DJ that also happens to be passionate about reaching out to those in dark places. Based out of Minnesota and trained in classical piano from a young age, he has always been a musician at heart. Dustin Gill, known by his artist name Drawn To The Sky, is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer. Growing up listening to punk, hip-hop and 80s hair metal, Dustin used music as a way to cope with the loneliness of being an only child in rural Minnesota. They both teamed up for a new track, “battling a war inside my head.” This track is definitely a vibe. The backing track/instrumentals are compelling and pair well with the vocals. Vocally, it is a strong performance that deserves a spot on your playlists. Check it out.
Alexander Popov x Annie Sollange x Ruslan Radriges | “The Light”
Alexander Popov teamed up with Annie Sollange and Ruslan Radriges, for a new track, “The Light.” There is so much energy packed into this track. The vocals are stunning and keep elevating throughout the song. The build is absolutely impressive and is accompanied by top notch production. This one will get you moving and never want to stop. All in all, it is a stunning performance and a strong end to our New Release Friday – Side A playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
