New Music

We are back with our New Music Friday playlist. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!

Ellis Griffin | “Longer”

Ellis Griffin just released a new track, “Longer.” The instrumentals are well done and pair well with his vocals. He has a voice that is perfect for Country Music. He does a great job at telling the story of the song, all while showing off his voice. A strong start to our New Music Friday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Brent de la Cruz | “Alone”

Brent de la Cruz is an American artist/ producer/ songwriter from San Diego, California. Recently moving to Los Angeles, for the first time in 5 years, he’s opening doors to collaborators both for his own artist project, as well as producing and songwriting for others. He just released a new track, “Alone.” This is such a catchy song. The backing track is compelling and pairs perfectly with his vocals. The way he is able to go from his full voice, into his head voice is admirable. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Will Evans | “All My Relations”

Will Evans has spent the last decade as the primary songwriter, drummer, and front man for the roots rock outfit Barefoot Truth . With BFT only playing select reunion dates, Will Evans has embarked on a new chapter in his musical journey. He just released a new track, “All My Relations.” This is an energetic blend of pop country featuring some contagious banjo instrumentals. The melody is absolutely captivating, and easily catches the listener’s attention. His vocals are impressive and soars throughout the song. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Cade Hoppe | “Labels”

Originally hailing from Sacramento, CA and now based in New York, Cade Hoppe originally moved to the East Coast to pursue his academic and athletic dreams. He’d learned to play piano, guitar, bass and saxophone over the course of his childhood, but it wasn’t until 2020 when Cade started to explore the possibility of writing and release his own songs. Now, he released a new track, “Labels.” I absolutely love the 80’s influences in the song. His voice is made for this genre of music. He does a great job at showing off his vocals, while never losing the energy of the song. This is a strong vocal performance that should be added to your playlists.
