We are back with our Wonderful Wednesday releases. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!
Rachel Grae | “It’ll Be Ok”
First up for our Wonderful Wednesday, Rachel Grae just released her cover of the popular Shawn Mendez song, “It’ll Be Okay.” It is rare that we feature covers on the site but when it is this good, we have to. The instrumental is very sentimental and beautiful. They pair very well with her vocals. Those vocals are insanely beautiful. Everything from her tone, to her range are impressive. This is by far, one of my favorite covers I have heard of any song. Make sure to add this one to your playlists. You won’t regret it.
We have previously featured Drew Schueler on the site. He is back with Kiki Halliday, with “Ruins.” The instrumentals are really well done. The real standout here are the vocals though. Their voices work really well together. It is really rare that in a duet, that both voices stand out on their own too. That is exactly what happens in this song. And those harmonies are on point. This is an absolutely stunning piece of work. Make sure you add this one to your playlists.
CASTLE | “Mattie”
CASTLE just released his new single, “Mattie.” This is an upbeat track, that really benefits from the infectious instrumentals and the vocals as well. The backing instrumentals are great but those vocals are on another level. He has such a strong voice and it is really great to hear it at the forefront of the track. Another really strong release this week by a super talented artist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Douglas First | “Step Aside”
Douglas First just released, “Step Aside.” This is such a great song. The backing track/instrumentals really shine in this track. They really compliment his vocals. He does a great job at capturing the emotion of the song, all while keeping up the energy of it. He also gets a chance to show off his vocals and vocal range as well. All in all, this is an awesome song that should be added to your playlists.
Darro | “Wanna Say Goodbye”
Darro just released a new track, “Wanna Say Goodbye.” This is such a cool track. It is really energetic and compelling. I love that is is reminiscent of indie rock/pop songs that I grew up listening to. It is making a comeback and I am here for it. It is a beautiful song and does a great job at showing off the vocals, all while keeping up the energy of the song. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
