We are back with our Wild Wednesday playlist. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!
townsend x NOKTIS | “goodbyes”
NOKTIS and townsend just released a new track, “goodbyes.” It is more of a slow burn song that instantly draws you in with the vocals. Once the track picks up pace, that is when the magic really starts. The harmonies are also really well done. The production is also on point too. All in all, it is a strong single that should be on your playlists. Check it out.
Tim Schou | “Liar”
Tim Schou is a singer-songwriter in the traditional sense, who writes and performs simple songs on his guitar about genuine feelings and real experiences. He just released a new track, “Liar.” Such a cool track. The backing track/instrumentals are really well done. The melody is impressive but the standout here are the vocals. His voice is something special. He seems to capture the emotion of the song perfectly. One of my favorites this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Marina City | “Hurt Me”
Frontman and songwriter, Ryan Argast, joined by Eric Somers-Urrea on drums, Matthew Gaudiano on keys, and guitarist Todor Birindjiev, make up the electric Alternative Rock band that is MARINA CITY. They just released a new track, “Hurt Me.” What an incredible performance. The instrumentals are impressive and compliment the vocals completely. He has one of those voices that cut through and demands your attention. A strong performance that needs to be put on repeat. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
iamnotshane | “what doesn’t kill you mutates and tries again”
We previously featured iamnotshane and his wildly popular track, “Maybe My Soulmate Died.” He just released a new track, “what doesn’t kill you mutates and tries again.” This track is extremely catchy as well. I think he has found his rhythm and this track is proof of that. He has such a great voice, which is pushed to the forefront of the track. This is smart, considering how strong his vocals are. Definitely a strong single and deserves to be added to your playlists.
