We are back with our Tune in Thursday playlist. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!
Jason William | “Hope”
Singer/Songwriter Jason William just released a new track, “Hope.” The new track is really well done. The instrumentals are compelling and pair well with his vocals. He has such a good voice that just cuts through and soars throughout the song. Definitely one that you should have on repeat. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
PRINS | “Hazardous”
PRINS is a force to be reckoned with. The pop powerhouse is now taking the New Zealand music scene by storm. Having spent the past few years racking up performance experience, PRINS is now becoming a firm fixture on the festival circuit, securing coveted slots at Bay Dreams South and Electric Ave last summer. She just released a new track, “Hazardous.” It is such a cool single. The instrumentals are on point. The real standout here are her vocals. The way she goes from her head voice to her full voice is admirable. Such a great performance. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Rainlights | “Mazzy Star Reminds Me of You”
Rachel aka Rainlights, is a singer/songwriter/producer and engineer based in NYC. After spending two years in London, UK, where she received her Master’s degree in Audio Production, Rainlights released her successful debut single “When My Phone Dies” earlier this year. She just released a new track, “Mazzy Star Reminds Me of You.” This song does a great job at putting her voice at the forefront of the song and letting it shine throughout. She has such a beautiful voice. It is refreshing to hear it in full force. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Emarosa | “Stay“
Bradley Scott (vocals) and ER White (guitar) aka Emarosa, have collaborated for nearly a decade to musically transform and energetically renew the group’s vision. They bravely shifted from the hard rock scene and became leaders of the alternative world with their catchy, dreamy, and wildly successful breakthrough album “Peach Club” in 2019, which soared to claim a top spot on the U.S. Billboard charts upon release and warranted a completely sold out nation-wide tour. They just released a new single, “Stay.” This is such an energetic track. I absolutely love the retro throwback to the instrumentals. They pair very well with the vocals. All in all, it is a strong performance that deserves to be on your playlists. Check it out.
Friday Pilots Club | “Never Say No”
Friday Pilots Club just released a new track, “Never Say No.” The single is really cool. It has more of an acoustic vibe of the front, which is perfect for his voice. Once the track gets going, it is more energetic and shows off the vocals. The vocals are absolutely stunning. From the vocal power to the harmonies, this track has it all. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to give this one an add to your playlists.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
