Tune in Thursday

We are back with our Tune in Thursday playlist. Check out the full tracks and reviews below!

joan | “don’t wanna be your friend”

The new track, “don’t wanna be your friend,” by joan is out now. It was created after the band returned home from their biggest headline tour yet. Confiding, “Co-written with their friend Jon Capeci from the band Nightly, “don’t wanna be your friend” details the all too relatable feeling of being in a relationship with someone you love and feel close to but knowing that you need to move on as that person is not the right one for you. It is such a well done song. The story of it is one that a lot of people are going to relate to. With their retro instrumentals and soothing vocals, this track is going to be another hit to add to their list. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Nicky Romero | “Techtronic”

After taking the world by storm with early hits such as ‘Legacy’ (with Krewella) and #1 single ‘I Could Be The One’ (with Avicii), Nicky Romero quickly proved that his talent is ever-evolving and here to stay. He just released a new track, “Techtronic.” The new track is really well done. The energy is off the charts and it shows throughout its entirety. Production is also top notch. This one will get you up and moving in no time. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Gammer feat. Linney | “Underneath”

English producer Gammer has become known in the dance circuit for his UK hardcore sound as well as trap and hardstyle, which attracted a new and younger generation of listeners to the heavy-hitting genres. He teamed up with Linney to release, “Underneath.” It is really well done. The production is top notch and it does a great job at showing off the vibe of the song too. The new single does a great job at showing off the vocals, all while never losing the energy of the song. All in all, it is a strong track that needs to be added to your playlists.

Elijah The Boy | “Red Light”

Elijah The Boy just released a new track, “Red Light.” The new single has a contagious melody and a strong backing track. It pairs perfectly with his vocals too. His voice is pushed to the forefront of the song, which is smart considering how strong his voice is. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
