We are back with our Top Notch Tuesday playlist. Check out the tracks and reviews below!
Adam Levine x Maluma x The Rudeboyz | “Ojalá”
Adam Levine, Maluma and The Rudeboyz just released a new track. This is such a well done track. First off, the instrumentals are beautiful and go well with the vocals of the track too. The melodies are something special. Can we talk for a minute about the production though? It is in a league of its own in terms of production. This is definitely a standout this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
Callum Beattie | “What It Means”
Callum’s new music follows on from his well-received EP’s ‘We Are Stars’ (2017) and ‘Miracle’ (2018) – which included his moving single ‘Some Heroes Don’t Wear Capes’ that was a tribute to his Father. He just released a new song, “What It Means.” This is such a cool song. The instrumentals are great and pair well with the vocals. He has one of those voices that just stand out so much, in the best way possible. Such a beautiful performance that deserves to be added to your playlists.
Billy Lockett | “Last Thing On Your Mind”
Billy Lockett just released a new track, “Last Thing On Your Mind.” All I can say is WOW. This is such a beautiful song. I am a sucker for piano pieces, and when you pair that with Billy’s voice, it is just magic. A lot of people are going to relate to the lyrics of this song as well. Definitely one of my favorites that I have covered in the last year. Make sure to add this one to your playlists. You will not regret it.
Leon Else | “BAD”
Leon Else is a pop singer/songwriter from the UK. He began writing and recording music at the age of 12 to serve as an escape from his rocky upbringing. After releasing a series of songs online, Leon was catapulted into the music industry and was featured on the soundtrack for Netflix’s “13 Reasons Why.” He just released a new track, “BAD.” This track is everything but BAD though. It is very well done. He has a voice that just radiates emotion and keeps your attention throughout the song. Definitely one of those songs with lyrics that is going to make you think and really dive deep within yourself. The production is also very well done and does a great job at showing off his vocals. It is a great song to end our Top Notch Tuesday playlist. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
