New Release Friday

We are back with our New Release Friday – Side A. Check out the new tracks and reviews below!

Jake Adler | “HEART WON’T LET ME”

Coming from humble beginnings, Jake hails from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has achieved many accomplishments at the ripe age of 26. He just released a new track, “HEART WON’T LET ME.” This is such a cool song. It is very energetic and still manages to show off his vocals. His voice is very versatile. The way he goes from his head voice, to full voice is impressive. Definitely a standout this week. Make sure to give this one an add to your playlists.

Julian Hall | “Died In Your Arms”

Julian Hall is back with, “Died In Your Arms,” a cover of the Cutting Crew hit. With over 2 million streams on Spotify, it is already a hit. This is such an energetic track. The vocals and the instrumentals are paired well together. Vocally, it is a stunning performance that deserves to be added to your playlists. Make sure to check it out.

Danny Pynes | “The Greatest Hits”

Danny Pynes is an artist, songwriter, and producer known for his unique indie-pop-meets-alt-country sound. Inspired by a wide range of artists and genres, from Tom Petty to 2Pac, he’s been honing his signature blend of urban grit, country twang, sharp verse, and heartfelt melody since 2015. He just released a new track, “The Greatest Hits.” I love that it has a retro feel to it. This sound has been missing from the radio and I am glad that it is back. His voice is something special. He has the ability to capture the emotion of the track and relay it to his audience. Make sure to give this one an add to your playlists.

LEEPA | “so far it just sucked”

With a total of over 6.5 million streams worldwide and international supporters like Ones to WatchNMF Sweden and many more, she isn’t just potentially the most promising talent the pop world has to offer at the moment, LEEPA is also the epitome of fashion, feminism, and merciless realness. She just released a new track, “so far it just sucked.” I think a lot of people are going to relate to the realness of this song. The instrumentals are well done. The real standout here are the vocals though. She has a great voice that is pushed to the forefront of the track. Definitely a must add to your playlists.

Freedom Fry | “Sunset Blvd”

Freedom Fry, the married duo of French girl Marie Seyrat and American boy Bruce Driscoll have self-created their own universe around music – producing, mixing, mastering, vastly growing a catalogue of over 250 original songs and covers and accompanying visuals. They just released a new track, “Sunset Blvd.” We have featured them before and they are just as energetic as ever. This one has such an indie/retro vibe which works with their vocals. The harmonies are on point as well. Such a great performance that needs to be added to your playlists.

STAY GLDN | “Pillow Talk”

STAY GLDN just released a new track, “Pillow Talk.” From the start, the instrumentals/backing track is really unique. When you pair those, with the vocals, it is absolutely magic. All aspects of the production are on point too. Such a great release. This could easily be on the radio tomorrow. Make sure to give this one an add to your playlists.

The Collection | “Sorry Baby”

The Collection is a 2019 NPR Tiny Desk Judge’s Pick and has released 3 records independently. Their raucous live show has drawn accolades nationwide and has seen them touring with pals The Oh Hellos and on various festival side stages – steadily making waves with each new record. They just released a new track, “Sorry Baby.” This is such a refreshing song. The instrumentals are good. The real standout here are the vocals though. Seriously impressive vocal performance. Easily one of my favorites this week. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.
