Kelly Clarkson Goes Viral Again With ‘Waitress’ Tribute

Kelly Clarkson has gone viral again with her tribute to Waitress, the Musical.
Following a request, via Twitter, from the Broadway production of Waitress, Kelly Clarkson performed the musical’s anthem, “She Used to Be Mine” on a recent broadcast of The Kelly Clarkson Show.
American Idol winner and talk-show host Clarkson subsequently chatted virtually with Ciara Renée, the final actor to play pie-maker Jenna in the recent Broadway production of Waitress. Watch Clarkson’s performance and the brief chat above.
Here are some of our favorite Tweets reacting to this incredible performance.
if i were hollywood i would simply produce a film adaptation of the musical starring Kelly Clarkson and have Sara write a new song for her and give Kelly a writing credit and they both win an academy award and maybe we’ll all finally know happiness https://t.co/h5oDUsQ3bZ

Kelly belted out the emotional lyrics as a pair of dancers behind her twirled across a diner set. She then invited Ciara Renée, who stars as Jenna, to come on the show for an interview (at the time of taping, the musical hadn’t yet closed)
Make sure to keep your eyes open for the next time Kelly Clarkson goes viral and wows us again.
