Evrod Cassimy is a singer/songwriter and a 6x Emmy nominated TV News anchor.
In 2018 he started his own record label, Everything Evrod Entertainment. The first project from the label is Evrod’s debut album, Newzic, released on November 10, 2018. All songs were written by Evrod himself and recorded in Detroit, MI at Get Fresh Studio.
The follow-up to Newizc, Evrod’s sophomore album Just Evrod was released on November 15th. The album features Aretha Franklin among other special guests. The first three singles from the album, I’m Leaving, T.F.M. and Fake are fan favorites.
Evrod has been singing since three years old and writing music. He has opened for Ne-Yo, Brandy and most recently Patti LaBelle. In 2006 he began his TV news career. Evrod can been seen weekday mornings from 4:30-7am on WDIV Local 4 News (NBC) in Detroit.
Evrod just released a new single, “U Know, U Know.” The vocals in this track are really strong. The backing track/instrumentals compliment his voice nicely. All in all, its a great song that should be added to your playlist.
