Emily C. Browning just released her new single, “Andy.” Check out the full track and review below!
Jazz school graduate and former session guitarist Emily C. Browning has recently debuted as a sole producer on her latest alt-pop tracks “Andy” and “I Wasn’t Into You Anyway”. Although hailing from New Zealand, Emily has shared LA writing sessions with Jesse Royal (of Maroon 5), David Ryan Harris, and with writers behind Dua Lipa, Shawn Mendes and Fifth Harmony.
Emily’s upcoming track “Andy” that was just released on May 27th, is based on a real date with a real-life Andy. The song starts with an intimate vocal, but progresses into heavy beats and synths, reminiscent of pop queens Billie Eilish and King Princess. The episodic form of the song mimics Emily’s experience of the date with a chain-smoking Andy. Are we into him? Or are we more interested in the celebrity women he used to date? In the dreamy music video, Emily and Andy both nearly drown at the local swimming pool while drifting in and out of reality.
The new track, “Andy,” is really compelling. Emily really knocked it out of the park with this one. The instrumentals are soothing and keep your attention throughout. Her vocals are absolutely beautiful. She has such a magnificent voice, which she gets to show off through the entire song. This is one of my favorites that I’ve had the chance to listen to. Make sure to add this one to your playlists.

Jerrett Franklin grew up in a small town. He moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. After writing for a few different artists in the area, he decided to branch out and give local music the spotlight. That is where the idea for Music On The Rox originated from. We are dedicated to shining a light on local music and giving a voice to those who aren’t being heard.
