The setting isn’t decorative. NOR.BE, recently signed to Right Track/Universal Music, wrote this instrumental debut around the moment a day starts over, and the footage exists to give that idea somewhere to live rather than to illustrate it after the fact.

What makes “All For You” land as more than a mission statement is the sheer scale of who’s playing on it. This is a first single with John Patitucci on bass, Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, and the full Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague behind it, a roster most artists don’t get access to on a tenth release, let alone a debut. NOR.BE uses that firepower to do something specific: fuse cinematic jazz with the muscle of instrumental rock, without either side swallowing the other.
NOR.BE’s guitar carries the central melody and everything else builds outward from it. Stoyan Stoyanov’s accordion threads in and out of that line with a lightness that stops the arrangement from ever feeling formal, and there’s a sun-baked quality to the whole thing that owes more to southern Europe than to any concert hall. Woodwinds sit up top over a bed of acoustic chords, and Fawzi Chekili steps forward midway with a jazz solo that lifts the brightness considerably.
The best passage comes late. Low contrabassoon tones run straight up against Colaiuta’s razor-edged drumming, and neither texture gives ground, they just hold against each other. That’s the moment the whole cinematic-jazz-meets-rock idea stops being a description and turns into something you can actually hear.
Pairing desert with shoreline in the video isn’t incidental either. It echoes what the music keeps doing throughout, setting something enormous beside something small and precise, and hands a wordless piece a visual grammar equal to its ambition. NOR.BE’s wider catalog reportedly carries traces of Steve Vai and Joe Satriani too, and that influence shows up here less as guitar pyrotechnics and more as a comfort with using serious musicianship in service of mood rather than spectacle.
Final Thoughts
“All For You” is a vivid, genuinely ambitious opening statement, and it makes a strong case that NOR.BE is thinking on a much bigger canvas than a typical debut single.
