Eli Lev To Release New EP, ‘Past Lives’ in October

Independent folk-pop artist Eli Lev announced a new EP, Past Lives, the second chapter in his powerful Three Worlds Project. It follows the well-received debut, Present Journey, and continues his journey of personal and musical transformation

Eli Lev is rolling out Past Lives one song at a time, with new tracks dropping every three weeks which started on June 25, 2025. The full album will be available on October 8. To celebrate, he’s hosting a special hometown show on October 3 at Blue House Productions in Kensington, Maryland, before hitting the road for a Northeast U.S. tour throughout the month.

According to Eli, Past Lives is more than just an album—it’s an oral history in song. Each track is woven with audio recordings from Eli’s actual relatives, gathered through years of family interviews. Their voices—his Bubbe Sarah, Uncle Ben, Aunt Evelyn, and more—are heard in poignant interludes and vivid recollections that provide a living heartbeat to each track.

“This album honors my ancestors,” says Lev. “Their voices and stories are the foundation of who I am. I wanted to bring them forward—not just in memory, but in sound, in rhythm, in life.”

With Past Lives, Eli Lev continues his ambitious Three Worlds Project—a musical trilogy that dives into themes of time, identity, and transformation. While Present Journey rooted listeners in the moment, Past Lives reaches back into the depths of memory and ancestry. The final chapter is still to come.

Lev’s signature blend of folk, Americana, and heartfelt songwriting has resonated with fans around the world. On this latest release, he leans further into his role as a storyteller—drawing from his own history to tap into something universal.

So far, he has released an acoustic version of, “Echo, and “Where We Come From,” which you can check out below!
