Hoda Kotb is clearing up any confusion regarding those Kelly Clarkson talk show rumors.
During an appearance on the Thursday, June 5 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Kotb, 60, was asked by an audience member about the recent reports suggesting she was going to be replacing Clarkson, 43, on her eponymous daytime talk show.
“I heard the rumors that you might be starting a daytime talk show,” the fan said, before asking, “Is that something you would ever consider doing?”
“Are you talking about the Kelly Clarkson rumor?” Kotb clarified, as the audience member confirmed her inquiry.
Kotb responded, “I feel like Kelly is in a class all by herself. My whole thing with talk shows and all that stuff, I’m a never-say-never person.”
“You don’t know what life’s gonna bring you. But, at this moment, I’m having such fun with the ride that I’m on,” the former Today anchor continued, while acknowledging that TV was her “first love.”
Kotb said goodbye to her anchor position on the Today show in January after 17 years.
